Ordering
How fast can I get materials delivered?
Most orders ship within 2–5 business days. We move fast because we know your crew doesn’t stop.
What’s your minimum order size?
We work with both small patch jobs and full-roof orders. If you’re not sure what you need, just ask.
Why don’t you publish prices?
Reclaimed inventory and its condition change weekly. Price depends on colour, size, thickness, quantity and delivery point. We quote fast and the number holds 30 days.
Is there free shipping?
Yes, on orders over $999 within the continental United States.
The material
Do you sell replicas or new tiles?
Nope—only authentic, reclaimed materials. Every tile or slate piece comes from a real teardown or historic salvage site.
What’s the sourcing process for your reclaimed materials?
We reclaim materials from verified architectural demolition projects and historic structures. Each batch is inspected, sorted, and cleaned to ensure durability and beauty.
How do you ensure structural integrity with older materials?
All our slate and tile is professionally vetted. We only sell pieces that meet performance standards for high-end residential roofing.
How long will a reclaimed slate roof last?
Slate outlasts its fasteners. Properly hung with copper or stainless nails and copper flashings, a reclaimed slate roof is a 75–150 year assembly.
Do the old nail holes matter?
Salvaged slate arrives pre-punched from its original roof. Most installers re-punch or hook-hang as needed; we supply hooks.

Can I request specific sizes or colors?
Yes. If you need a color match or unique shape, let us know—we’ll check our inventory and send photos if needed.
How do I match an existing roof?
Send us one slate off the building. Photographs alone rarely settle colour. See Slate Matching for the full process.
How much overage should I order?
10–15% over net roof area. More on steep or complex roofs.
Can you help my architect write the specification?
Yes. We provide data sheets, ASTM C406 grading language, batch photography and submittal packages.
