Genuine salvaged roofing slate in six colours and four working lengths. Sounded, culled and crated for the jobsite.
What you are buying
Every slate we sell was installed on a roof before it reached our yard. It is removed by hand, stacked on edge, sounded for soundness, culled for cracks and delamination, then re-stacked by length. We do not wash it, seal it or re-dress the surface. The patina on the pallet is the patina that goes on your roof.

Specification questions
What thickness should I expect?
Most reclaimed American slate runs 3/16" to 3/8". Thicker quarry runs exist and we grade and price them separately.
How much waste should I allow?
Allow 10–15% over your net roof area on reclaimed material for breakage, hip and ridge cuts, and starter courses.
Do the holes line up with new work?
Salvaged slate arrives pre-punched from its original roof. Most installers re-punch or hook-hang as needed; we can supply hooks.
