What we carry
Ridge & hip slate
Saddle ridge, comb ridge and mitred hip slate sorted from the same batches as our field slate, so colour and thickness agree.
Snow guards
Copper and bronze pad-and-prong guards, fence rail systems, and pre-1940 salvaged guards for landmark work.
Copper flashing
16 oz and 20 oz cold-rolled copper in sheet and coil for valleys, step flashing, chimney saddles and apron details.
Slate hooks
Stainless and copper hooks for repairs and re-hangs where re-punching is not practical.
Copper nails
Large-head smooth-shank copper slating nails, 1.25" to 2.5".
Tools
Slate rippers, slate hammers, cutters and stakes.
Why the accessories matter as much as the slate
A slate roof fails at its flashings long before it fails at its slate. Matching a 100-year service life in the field means copper, stainless or lead-coated copper at every penetration and valley—galvanised steel will rust out in a quarter of the time and take the surrounding slate with it when it is replaced.
